Jennifer Newman Sharpe is an entertainment attorney admitted to the New York bar. With a background in music production, performance and songwriting, Jennifer has a deep love and appreciation for music. She represents clients whose work touches upon all areas of entertainment, including record producers, songwriters, managers, filmmakers, and authors. Jennifer’s prior professional experiences range from working at an independent record label, a hip-hop recording studio, and a digital promotions company. In her free time, Jennifer loves seeing live music, writing in her blog, and traveling.
Jennifer received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property law and her B.F.A. in Recorded Music from The Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She matriculated at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, where she studied international intellectual property, media, and freedom of speech law and public policy.
