Advisors: Lisa Brigantino
Lisa Brigantino has worked in the fields of music supervision, music licensing, talent acquisition and rights
clearance for over 25 years. She got her start in the business working her way up to Director of Licensing for
BZ/Rights and Permissions, Inc. and then became a founding partner of Creative License, Inc. and later served
as the company’s Vice President and Director of Business Affairs. Lisa later went on to found her own
company, Hidden Pond Productions, Inc., a unique, one-stop shop with expertise in music supervision, talent
acquisition, music licensing, rights clearance of any kind, branding, research and consultation as well as custom
music scoring, production and sound design. Hidden Pond Productions, Inc. serves a diverse array of clients
including Fortune 500 companies, brands and their agencies, TV broadcasters, filmmakers, publishers,
merchandisers and producers of all kinds as well as songwriters, composers and musicians.
On the musical front, Lisa is an award-winning composer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and international
touring musician with a Master of Music degree in music composition and music theory from the SUNY
Fredonia School of Music. Lisa has brought her musical talents to Hidden Pond Productions writing,
performing and producing music for her clients. Recent works includes original music for national TV and
radio advertising campaigns for Once Upon A Child (winner of a Silver First Place Telly Award) and Plato’s
Closet Stores as well as a website sizzle reel for PhotoQuest Adventures (all co-written with husband Thomas
Millioto), and the indie films “Taken” and “Game Night.”
Lisa continues to write, record and perform her own original songs and her latest solo CD “Wonder Wheel”
containing a mix of Folk, Rock, Blues, Americana, Old-Time and more, continues to receive international
airplay and great reviews, including a 5 star rating and “Pick Of The Week” from Indie Music Critic and
Muzikreviews.com. Lisa released two singles in 2014 and is currently recording her next full-length solo album
with an anticipated release in late 2016.
In addition to her own performances, Lisa also performs with her sister Lori Brigantino in “The Vickie &
Nickie Show” a wacky, self-contained theatrical musical/comedy act where the real life sisters portray Vickie &
Nickie – the multi-instrumental, singing housewife sister duo straight from the hills of Northern Minnesota.
Infused with snappy dialogue and audience participation, the sisters entertain with wacky original tunes,
hilarious pop song interpretations and improv all while accompanying themselves on many different musical
Lisa was an original member of Lez Zeppelin, the world’s first all girl, all Led Zeppelin tribute band and toured
internationally with the band playing bass, bass pedals, keyboards, mandolin and doing backup vocals. During
Lisa’s years with the band, they received rave reviews in many publications and news sources including Rolling
Stone (US, Germany and Japan ), Time Out New York & Chicago, CBS Sunday Morning and many more.
Performance highlights include appearances at The Bonnaroo Music Festival and Voodoo Fest (USA),
Download Festival (UK) Rock am Ring/Rock am Park (Germany). The band’s self-titled debut CD was
released in 2007, recorded and produced by the legendary Eddie Kramer. Lisa co-wrote two of the original
songs on the album. Lisa left the band in 2009 to focus on her original music.
Lisa is a voting member of NARAS, a member of SESAC, The Songwriters Guild Of America, New York
Women in Film and Television and Women In Music. Lisa served on the Board of Directors of Women In
Music, Inc. from 1999 through 2003, was the Secretary from 2001 through 2003 and was also a contributing
writer and co-editor of the organization’s quarterly magazine, WIM. Since 2003, Lisa has proudly continued to
serve on the Advisory Board of Women In Music, Inc.
